Bonn, Germany - On January 20th officials at the GenetiCon Conference planning commission announced that EroTech's A. Henry Ross has been invited to deliver the keynote address at this year's meeting. Over 12,000 participants from over 83 countries are expected to attend, with another 100,000 more registered to participate via internet forums and webcasts. For the past decade, GenetiCon has been the premiere event for the showcasing of advanced research and cutting-edge technology being developed in the area of genetics. Past keynote speakers have included Dr. Alheed Toufaani (Helix Partnership), Stanton White (Director of Research at Brighton Labs), and controversial bio-artist Rene LaFleur.

 

EroTech receives approval from International Health Alliance to market Sensual Surrogate technologies.

Geneva, Switzerland - Approval for an application to market sensual surrogate technologies within the European Union has been granted to EroTech starting June 1, 2004 by the board of the International Health Alliance. EroTech had submitted the application in early 1998, following a series of beta-testing that yielded unprecedented results in the area of gene building, and hoped to receive the go-ahead from the IHA despite resistance from the Board's co-chair, Dr. Carl Juernsburg of Austria, who claimed that EroTech neglected to provide sufficient data that they were working within a framework that insured developments would be 100% free from potentially causing what has been known in the industry as a possible "Leeds-Klein Effect".

 

EroTech's Board of Trustees approves acquisition of CyboNexus Labs, consolidation to begin in June 2003.

San Diego, California - EroTech Industries Board of Trustees voted unanimously in January to approve the consolidation of EroTech and software powerhouse CyboNexus Laboratories. A bold move on the part of A. Henry Ross & Co. who have depended thus far on contracting out to smaller firms the crucial job of DNA pattern recognition which is vital in creating successful genetic-mosaics.

 

Journal of Sexology calls EroTech a "Vanguard of Industry" and explores therapeutic possibilities of surrogate bio-toys.

Berkeley, California - The March/April edition of the Journal of Sexology features an in-depth analysis of companies, including EroTech, which are in the process of developing "surrogate bio-toys" aimed at the household consumer. The article looks at the possible therapeutic benefits that such devices would play in the lives of couples experiencing sexual difficulties, as well as the elderly and sex-phobic. The piece makes use of a recent University of Anchorage study that suggested that approx. 24% of North Americans between the ages of 35 and 50 suffer from a psycho-sexual deficiency known as "ani-malnutrition", which can be linked to depression, anxiety, and aberrant behavior.

London, England - In his up coming biography of Sir Phineas Woodruff, author Christian Langley provides a host of evidence that concludes that Woodruff's early experiments with cross-breeding sea cucumbers with various lower-functioning mammals indeed set the stage for the up coming Age of Hybridization within the world of biology.
